Core Drills, Countersinks, Seamers

Glassline manufactures a complete line of diamond core drills, seamers and countersinks. Our core drills are designed specifically for the glass and ceramic industries. They are free cutting, produce excellent quality holes, and are suited for either in-line production or job shop drilling.

Standard core drills are fabricated in sizes from 1/8" up to 3" in diameter, and 3/16" depth of impregnation. Drills up to 1" in diameter have a 1/32" wall thickness. Larger drills have a 3/64" wall thickness - providing the extra strength required by the larger size drills. Other wall thicknesses are produced as required to meet specific customer end use needs; for example, drilling of pattern glass may require a thinner wall thickness.

Standard drill shanks have a 3/8" diameter, and a 3-1/2" overall length. 1/2"-14 NPSM external threaded shank or other custom shanks and adapters are also available.

Our diamond seamers are made in two different styles: to fit over the barrel of a core drill, or as a one-piece drill seamer. One-piece seamers can be plain or segmented. Seamers for mounting over the barrel of a core drill and one-piece drill seamers are available up to 1-1/2". Standard OD ranges from 3/8" to 1-1/4", with nominal ID from 1/8" to 1".

Countersinks are available in standard 90-degree to 120-degree angles with other angles available to order, and are manufactured with and without water passage requirements. Diameters range from 3/8" to 1-1/4" major diameter with 1/4" minor diameter.

Specialty Diamond Tools are custom made to meet unique processing requirements; including multi-purpose tools, drills, routers, countersinks, segments, and more. Dressing Sticks are available and in stock.

Glassline can customize tools to Customer specifications, including gaps/no gaps, color designations, chamfer size and angle, etc. At Customer request, we can incorporate specified identifiers, or designate parts by color.
